Rachel Whittaker

Rachel Whittaker is a commercial real estate lawyer with deep experience on a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including acting for institutional landlords on major lettings, joint ventures, high-value investment acquisitions and disposals, large-scale developments and complex pre-lets, investment and development financings, and property and asset management arrangements. She also has experience in the real estate finance, hotel, health care, and residential sectors.

Rachel has acted for a broad and eclectic mix of clients, including two in-house secondments with global real estate fund manager, Invesco Real Estate. She has also worked on various pro bono matters, including acting for a mental health charity and a women’s rights’ group.

The UK’s Provision of Information Regulations 2026 introduce mandatory disclosure requirements for contractual controls over registered land in England and Wales, with the regime coming into force on 6 April 2027.
